Thank you to everyone on Digby Crescent who said hello and completed a survey at the Jubilee celebration on Sunday 5 June. We had almost 20 responses!

The survey is available on our webpage, with some further information about our potential Green Street project.

Who else has made a green street?

Green streets are emerging across the UK, as households come together to make new green spaces, install insulation or solar panels and even replace their heating. Check out some of these exciting projects:

Swaffham Prior
A village in East Cambridgeshire are replacing their individual oil boilers with a renewable heat network. A network of pipes delivers heat through the village, heat is generated using ‘ground source’ and green electricity. Find out more here*

Hackney Council have actively encouraged hundreds of homeowners to install solar panels through a group purchasing scheme. Find out more here*

Cosy Homes Oxfordshire
‘Cosy Homes’ aims to make retrofitting homes simple for homeowners that have no experience of household improvements or energy efficiency measures. They manage the process from evaluation, to providing a household plan and arranging the required works. To date they have developed 220 Whole House Plans to improve the energy efficiency of homes in Oxfordshire. Find out more here*
